Archie Ah See Aki Jr., 91, of Hilo died July 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kona, he was a retired bosun with the Matson Navigation Co., commercial fisherman and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by companion, Minnie Bicoy of Ainaloa; daughters, Maile (Chris) Harris, Gwen Chinen, Marcia (Bridget) Aki and Jasmine (Arthur) Nakayama of Hilo, Laurie (Irvin) Sarsona of Wailuku, Maui, Verdell (Jim) Cowles of Waianae, Oahu, and Antoinette Toni Aki and Annette Nettie Aki of Keaau; son, Neal (Linh) Aki of Hilo; sister-in-law, Patsy Aki of Kohala; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Rowland Pelekane Ignacio, 37, of Waikoloa died June 12 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a courier driver for United Parcel Service. Celebration of life 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Kuhio Hale Hawaiian Homes Hall, 64-756 Mamalahoa Hwy., Waimea. Casual attire. Survived by sons, Dorian Pelekane Ignacio of Hilo and Ezekiel Kaulanamakanaokahaku Mareko of Las Vegas; mother, Louise Pelekane Ignacio of Washington; brother, Baba Ignacio Jr. of Honokaa; sisters, Ramona Flores of Washington, Romeilyn (Ray) Hirayama of Kawaihae and Romelda (Brad) Tabudlo of Waikoloa; hanai sister, Rhonda (Leighton) Bell of Kapaau. Ronald “Will” William Jordan, 74, of Kailua-Kona died July 2 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Bangor, Maine, he was a former surgical nurse, construction worker for Dean Johnson Construction, past member and officer for Kona Elks 2616, charter member and officer for the VFW Post 12122 and a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran who served in the 101st Airborne Division.
