Mariano Sebastian Abadilla, 90, of Hilo died April 26 at home. Born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a vegetable and rice farmer and member of New Hope Filipino Ministry. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 9:30 a.m. Burial noon at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Aurora Abadilla of the Philippines; son, Samuel (Delia) Abadilla of Oahu; daughters, Esmeralda “Aida” (Ronald) Miyazaki, Evelyn (Julian) Agub, Imelda (George) Vinluan, Celia (Edwin) Ballesteros, Rosalie Abadilla, Filmar (Richard) Yambao and Grace (William) Lagura of Hilo; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Bruce Robert Biddle, 50, of North Kohala died June 6 at home. Born in Platte, S.D., he was a crane operator and owner of Kohala Coast Crane. Private services. No flowers. Antonio Cawagas, 71, of Honokaa died May 6 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Paauilo, he was head machinist for the former Hamakua Sugar Co., retired groundskeeper at the former Hapuna Beach Prince Resort, member of Honokaa United Methodist Church and U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Honokaa United Methodist Church. Memorial services at 10 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by son, Antonio Junior Benito Cawagas of Oahu; daughters, Cara (Kellen) Cawagas of Oahu and Leah (Shane) Cawagas of Honokaa; brother, Felimino Cawagas of Keaau; sister, Gloria Lurendez of Pearl City, Oahu; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Stanley Hajime Ikeda, 90, of Hilo died June 3 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired freight supervisor for HT&T and U.S. Army veteran during World War II. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 17, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Delphine Barbara (Funn) Parra, 70, of Hilo died Feb. 22 at home. Born on Oahu, she was a deli clerk and bartender. Private services held. Survived by husband, Frederick Norman Parra of Washington state; daughter, Darla (Greg) Requelman of Hilo; brothers, William (Nalani) Funn of Waimea and Michael (Zoe) James of Washington state; sisters, Francine Leialoha of Keaau and Lisa Woller of Florida; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
