Bonifacio “Pacio” Corpuz, 73, of Pahala died March 4 at home. Born in the Philippines, he was a nut harvester and irrigation pump operator for the former ML Macadamia Nut Orchard and carpenter. Visitation 6 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Corpuz home. Public viewing 8-10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Friends welcome at the Corpuz residence immediately after the service. Inurnment at a later date. Survived by wife, Oliva Corpuz; children, Rowena (Edgar) Pollante, Remely (Brandon) Kight, Rey (Luzy) Corpuz, Rochelle (Rodel) Abero, Ruby (Gabor) Corpuz-Salla, Rodelyn Corpuz and Katherine (Nathan) Corpuz-Perry; seven siblings; 11 grandchildren; aunts, uncles and cousins.
