Dennis Sarita
Dennis Sarita, 79, of Hanama‘ulu, passed away on April 15, 2023 at Wilcox Medical Center. He was born on March 18, 1944, in Lihu‘e. He worked at the state of Hawai‘i Lihu‘e Airport.
He was preceded in death by parents Gaudencio and Salome Sarita, brother Edward Sarita, sister Arlene Nemesek, nephew Andrew Sarita and brother-in-law Gary Yoshida.
He is survived by brother Stephen Sarita and sister Faye Yoshida.
A service is Saturday, June 10, at Immaculate Conception Church in Lihu‘e. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. followed by service at 10 a.m. The family requests casual attire.
Nancy J. Young
Nancy J. Young, of Kalaheo, passed away on June 4, 2023 in Waimea at the age of 83. She was born on Nov. 7, 1939, in Evergreen Park, Illinois. She was an artist.
She was preceded in death by husband Charles Allen Young.
She is survived by son Michael A. (Irina) Young of Kalaheo, two grandchildren, brother James (Laurie) Peck of New York, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private service was held.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
