LIHU‘E — The ‘Ohana found the winners’ column on Saturday during the Kaua‘i Senior Softball league games being contested at the ‘Ele‘ele and Wailua fields.
Following a 16-4 loss to the Rookies in a rain make-up contest, ‘Ohana tromped West Kaua‘i, 12-2, for its first win in the season.
The Rookies, pocketing the win over ‘Ohana and slapping the East Kaua‘i Legend, 16-4, continued to share the lead with Kawaihau who took a 13-9 win over the Islanders.
Saturday’s contests will play at the Hanamaulu and Kaumakani fields with the first pitch being tossed starting at 9 a.m. at both fields.
The make-up contest between the Aloha Kia Lihu‘e A’s and the Keonimana Gents was rained out.
