Police seek leads on July murder

Police are renewing their request for information about the unsolved murder of an elderly man in Puna.

The body of 76-year-old Michael Rosenbaum was discovered July 31 at MacKenzie State Recreation Area.

Rosenbaum reportedly had last been seen alive July 22 in Pahoa town and was reported missing two days later.

His body was found by a local fisherman on the cliffs below the beach park.

An autopsy later concluded Rosenbaum was killed by a gunshot.
