Police seek suspect in liquor theft

Police are seeking information on a liquor theft Feb. 2 at the
West Kawili Street 7-11 convenience store in Hilo.

According to police, at about 5:45 p.m. a male entered the store, took two 18-packs of an alcoholic beverage and left without paying.

The suspect is described as young, about 5-foot-5 inches tall, thin, with dark hair. When seen, he was wearing a light-colored shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity and whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
