LIHU‘E — The Department of Land and Natural Resources has closed access to Polihale State Park because of a recent power outage.
“Due to the recent weather and power outages, there’s no electricity to pump the water and the bathrooms aren’t accessible,” reported a DLNR spokesperson.
The power outage occurred on April 18, and the park was shuttered the following day. DLNR reports the park will be closed until power is restored.
