A 35-year-old Puna man faces charges in connection with a burglary in Volcano.
Officers arrested Thomas Bowers last week at a Volcano store.
He was charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree property damage. His bail was set at $20,000.
On Monday, Bowers waived a preliminary hearing and his case was committed to Hilo Circuit Court, where he was ordered to appear May 25 for arraignment and plea.
