Rotary business competition accepting applications

LIHUE — Now’s the time for entrepreneurs looking to win some extra cash to apply for the third annual Catch A Wave Business Competition, hosted by the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay.

It’s a “Shark Tank”-style competition, judged by a panel, that names as the winner the most dynamic small business on Kaua‘i.

The Catch A Wave Application Review Committee is currently accepting and reviewing applications for the 2020 competition. After collecting applications, the committee will interview business owners and select 10 finalists.

Those finalists pitch their products and businesses to a panel of judges, in front of an audience.

Catch a Wave organizers have not yet announced when the committee will stop taking applications. For more information or to submit an application, see
