SBA deadline for loans March 14

Businesses that suffered losses due to the Kilauea eruption have another month to apply for federal disaster loans.

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s economic injury loans can assist businesses affected by the eruption and earthquakes from May 3 through Aug. 17.

The deadline is March 14.

Interest rates are 3.61 percent for businesses and 2.5 percent for nonprofit organizations.
