LIHU‘E — The Civil Air Patrol is hosting a memorial service for William “Bill” Enoka, 78, the retired Kaua‘i Fire Department firefighter who was one of the two passengers who died in a plane crash at Dillingham Airfield on O‘ahu earlier this month.
The family will be hosting a memorial service at St. Catherine Church Saturday, March 21.
CAP is putting on two separate ceremonies — one on Kaua‘i Tuesday, March 3, and one on O‘ahu Saturday, March 7.
The Kaua‘i service will be held at the Kauai Veterans Center starting at 5 p.m. Presentation of the flag will kick off the ceremony at 6 p.m. and “Taps” will be played at 8 p.m. to close the ceremony.
