KOLOA — The State of Hawai‘i Organization of Police Officers, more commonly known as SHOPO, Kaua‘i Chapter is hosting the Olivera/Banquel Memorial Slow Pitch Softball Tournament, with all of the proceeds being donated to the Oliveira and Banquel ‘ohana.
The open-bracket tournament is open to players of all ages, and all interested teams.
Participation in the tournament that will contest at the Anne Knudsen Park in Koloa is $400 per team. The deadline for registering teams is April 15, and can be done by contacting SHOPO Kaua‘i Chapter Chair Chris Calio or Tyler Yates at 808-634-7378.
The tournament will be held from April 29 through May 1, with the first contests going at 6 p.m. April 29. The first games on May 1 will start at 8 a.m.
