Special election postcards mailed out this week

LIHU‘E — Special Election Notification Postcards for the upcoming Prosecuting Attorney Special Elections will be mailed out to voters beginning today, according to the county’s Office of the County Clerk’s Elections Division.

A small number of voters who submitted certain change of address requests with the United States Postal Service will receive a Notice of Voter Registration Update Postcards. Postcards will begin arriving in households by the end of the week.

In addition to providing information on the upcoming Special Elections, the postcards are also used to maintain the voter rolls.

Anyone receiving a postcard addressed to someone unknown or who no longer resides at the address is asked to write, “NOT AT THIS ADDRESS” and place the postcard back in the mail, which the USPS will return to the Elections Division to update the corresponding voter’s registration record.

The Prosecuting Attorney Special Primary Election will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18, and Special General Election on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022. Additional information will be released in the coming weeks.
