Spend An Evening in Bali

KEKAHA — St. Theresa School is inviting the public to “An Evening in Bali” on March 8 at the school’s lawn.

Activities start from 4:30 p.m. with shadow puppet making, and will be followed by a dance performance from 5 to 6 p.m.

“Mai mai!” said St. Theresa School principal Wendy Castillo. “Come join us for an evening of Balinese shadow puppetry, music, and dance with guest master artists from Bali.”

Castillo encourages people attending the free event to bring their own chair, blanket, and pack a picnic lunch.

There will be food available for purchase.

The event is being presented in collaboration with the University of Hawai‘i theatre and dance program, ArtsFocus Southeast Asia, and the East-West Center.
