HANALEI — Everyone is invited to the Hanalei Bay Resort Tennis Courts Pro Shop, Saturday when PBI Tennis Specialists and the Hanalei Bay Resort Tennis present a Sports Injury Clinic with special guest Dr. Gerard Issvoran from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
“Dr. Issvoran from Monterey, California will be talking and demonstrating common tennis conditions and injuries from the ground upward,” said Mary Hannsz, the PBI Tennis Director at Hanalei Bay Resort. “He has incorporated his osteopathic training as a vital part of his practice along with a strong philosophy in preventive medicine with core belief that the human body has the capacity to heal and sustain itself given the proper opportunities through diet, nutrition, and exercise.”
Some of the common conditions and injuries involve feet, ankles, the knee, the hip, sacroiliac joint, the lumbar spine, thoracic spine and the rib cage, cervical spine, the shoulder, elbows — tennis versus golfer’s elbow, the wrist and the hand.
