The state added 13 new “trusted partners” for its domestic trans-Pacific and interisland pre-travel testing programs.
The new partners join dozens of others that previously were approved for testing.
Eleven new partners were added for domestic trans-Pacific travel: American Family Care, which has more than 200 locations nationwide; American Samoa Department of Health; Seattle-based Atlas Genomics; Alaska-based Capstone Clinic; Clarity Lab Solutions, which has a testing and lab facility at Los Angeles International Airport; Costco/AZOVA, which offers at-home, observed FDA-authorized testing for travelers; Go Health Urgent Care, which offers rapid COVID-19 testing at a number of centers throughout the country and at San Francisco International Airport; UC San Diego Health; University of Washington Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology; WestPac Labs, which is part of Sonic Healthcare USA; and XpresCheck, a multi-state, airport-based wellness center that specializes in COVID-19 testing.
Meanwhile, two new testing partners were added for interisland travel.
The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii’s Consortium will offer testing through an agreement with the City and County of Honolulu at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel on Oahu.
Tests are available for individuals 5 and older and cost $125. Health insurance is accepted.

Domestic trans-Pacific travelers older than the age of 5 can bypass a mandatory two-week quarantine by taking a COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) from a trusted partner no more than 72 hours prior to the final leg of departure.
A negative test result must be uploaded in the Safe Travels digital platform or be presented upon arrival.
Additionally, inter-county passengers arriving in Kauai and Maui counties can bypass the mandatory two-week quarantine if they take a NAAT up to 72 hours prior to departure and the traveler receives a negative result.
Those arriving on the Big Island can follow the same protocol or get a post-arrival test from a trusted partner. The traveler would have to remain in quarantine until a negative test is reported and verified.
