Talk Thursday on 3,000-year-old city

WAIPOULI — A special visitor from Israel will present a talk, as well as display rare archaeological artifacts, in Waipouli on Thursday evening.

Ze’ev Orenstein, international director of affairs for City of David, will give his presentation at 6 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Jewish Center, 4531 Pouli Road. His presentation is titled, “How a Busted Sewage Pipe saved Jerusalem and her Biblical Heritage.”

City of David is a 3,000-year-old biblical-era discovery, where King David established Jerusalem as the capital of his kingdom.

The public is welcome to attend. There is no entrance fee.
