‘The Gin Game’ to be staged as Zonta scholarship fundraiser

LIHU‘E — The Zonta Club of Kaua‘i, in partnership with the Kaua‘i Community Players, invites the public to a staging of “The Gin Game,” by D. L. Coburn, and directed by Jessica Brown, on Jan. 11 at the Puhi Theatrical Warehouse.

Tickets for the one-night scholarship fundraiser for the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i Foundation are available online at kauaicommunityplayers.org/buy-tickets-to-a-kauai-community-players-live-performance/.

The unique fundraising evening, The Zonta Club of Kaua‘i Red Carpet Gala, is highlighted by the live performance of the play by performers with the Kaua‘i Community Players, rendering their version of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play about life, death and how to play gin.

Doors to the gala opens at 6 p.m. for photos, fun and socializing. The curtain rises at 7 p.m. Beverages and desserts, many created by Zonta Club of Kaua‘i members, will be available.
