University of Hawai‘i seeks input on strategic plan

MANOA — The University of Hawai‘i is asking all Hawai‘i residents for their help in creating the next strategic plan for the 10-campus UH system by participating in a short survey, a component of the UH Strategic Plan 2023–2029 initiative.

The UH Strategic Plan 2023–2029 initiative survey is at tgilinks.com/3IXo3Lj.

The survey, available now through midnight Friday, July 22, takes less than five minutes to complete, and is for anyone interested in the future of Hawai‘i’s only public-higher-education system.

The UH Strategic Plan 2023–2029 initiative builds upon the UH Third Decade Report, the UH Strategic Directions 2015–2021 and UH post-pandemic plans, which focused on what Hawai‘i needs most from its public-higher-education system going forward.

The community input will be incorporated into the first draft of the UH Strategic Plan 2023–2029, which is expected in Sept. 2022.

At that time, all members of the community will be invited to provide comments and suggestions.

A final draft is expected to go to the UH Board of Regents for approval in November, when there will also be an opportunity for public input.

The survey is being administered by SMS Research and Marketing Services Inc.
