WAILUA HOMESTEADS — A garage fire at a residence caused about $30,000 in damage on Saturday.
The fire was reported at approximately 11 a.m. on Molo Street, the Kaua‘i Fire Department (KFD) said. A number of firefighting personnel responded to the scene.
“Once on scene, they found a single-story home with visible smoke coming from the garage door,” the KFD said.
