The county will be closing Waipio Valley Road to all but residents and farmers for general maintenance every third Wednesday of the month for the foreseeable future.
According to a statement from the Department of Public Works, road work, including tree trimming, weed whacking and repairing potholes will be performed between 8 a.m.
and 2:30 p.m.,
weather and construction conditions permitting.
Signs will be posted advising motorists of the closures.
