LIHUE — Kapaa High School boys volleyball who ended the state Division II tournament in second place after dropping to the No. 4 seeded Radford, earned eight spots in the Kauai Interscholastic Federation Boys Volleyball All-Stars that was released on Tuesday.
The Central Pacific Bank KIF champion team controlled the voting by Curren Pope securing the Player of the Year honors after being named one of the middle blockers.
Coach Kapule Kaona was named Coach of the Year.
Of the nine available spots, Kauai High School junior Dylan Takata was selected one of three outside hitters following his season that saw the Red Raider mix his whacks from both sides of the front as well as launching backrow missiles.
