Letter for Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Climate disruption should be major concern

I am concerned to the point that I am scared and depressed.

I have taken personal action by buying two electric vehicles, I have solar voltaic on my house, a solar water heater, a garden and I am active in clubs such as 350.org, kauai Ev, Sierra club

I have written letters to the editor, to the county council, and mayor, spoke at government meetings, etc.

I am disappointed that even people who are aware of our peril are not making personal changes.

I really think it’s too late and I am still trying anyway hoping to mitigate.

We need an effective carbon incentive program to encourage every individual to change their carbon footprint
