Clayton Pihaleo Ah Tong Chow

Clayton Pihaleo Ah Tong Chow, of Kapaa, passed away on June 17, 2019, at the age of 61. He was born in Lihue, on Dec. 12, 1957, and was a CSM operator for Aqua Engineers, Inc.

He was preceded in death by parents Kenneth and Martha Huddy Chow, sister Lyndell Makanani and brother Michael Chow.

He is survived by wife Kimberly Chow, son Clay Chow, brother Ken Chow, sister Darlene (George) Thronas, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the at Kauai Veterans Center.

Borthwick Kauai Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Enriqueta Acob Cubangbang

Enriqueta Acob Cubangbang of Lihue passed away on June 12, 2019. She was born in Barangay 34, Cabaruan, Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on July 28, 1923. She retired as a guava picker in Kilauea.

She was preceded in death by parents Tomas and Estefania Acob, and brother Dionisio Acob of Wailua.

She is survived by sons Leo (Jesusa) Cubangbang, Ross (Jocelyn) Cubangbang, Carlos ( Helen ) Cubangbang, Felino (Dominga) Cubangbang, and Evaristo (Eliza) Cubangbang, all of Lihue, and Silver (Eleanor) Cubangbang of Las Vegas, and Gregorio (Jane) Cubangbang of Lihue, daughters Martina Cubangbang of Lihue, Josefina (Norbert ) Ventura of Hilo, Hawaii, Lucrecia (Reinaldo) Aurelio of Lihue, and Corazon (Angel) Cruz of San Bernandino, California, 23 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, July 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary chapel in Koloa, and again on Saturday, July 20, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lihue, with visitation at 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park, Lihue.
