Polly Kauahi
Polly Kauahi, CFRE, 65, passed away in Lihu‘e, on Aug. 1, 2022. She was born in New Hampshire on Nov. 17, 1956. She worked on O‘ahu as the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of the Hawai‘i Foodbank.
She was preceded in passing by father Clarence Bonner, brother Eric Coddaire and husband Frank M. Kauahi.
She is survived by daughter Ka‘iulani (Leon Davenport) Kauahi, mother Dorothy Motobu, brothers Mark (Lori) Coddaire, Ed (Norma) Coddaire, numerous nieces and nephews.

Perla Fernandez Ortal
Perla Fernandez Ortal passed away on July 23, 2022, at KVMH, at the age of 73. She was born on Feb. 22, 1949, in Dagupan City, Philippines.
She was preceded in death by parents Benito and Paciencia Fernandez.
She is survived by husband Denny Ortal of Waimea, sons Dean Ortal (Krislee) of Waimea, Devin Ortal of Japan, daughter Pinky Yoshimoto (Chad) of O‘ahu, four grandchildren, brother Cesar Fernandez of Kaumakani, sisters Norma Fernandez of Kaumakani, Virginia Fernandez of Kaumakani, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the St. Theresa Church in Kekaha. Visitation is from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Eulogy at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass.
The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
