Edith R. Udarbe

Edith R. Udarbe passed away on Dec. 9, 2019, on Kauai at the age of 67. She was born on June 17, 1952 in San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.

She was a housekeeper.

She was preceded in death by parents Cipriano and Apolonia Rondon and brother Reynaldo Rondon.

She is survived by husband Charito Udarbe, sons Constantine (Lailani) Udarbe, Charles Udarbe, Noel Udarbe and Mark Udarbe, daughters Catherine (Julius Quintas) Udarbe and Cheryl (Clifford) Villanueva, grandchildren Carl Michael Udarbe, Christopher James Udarbe, Christian Jay Udarbe, Chris Josh Udarbe, Jasmine Udarbe, Angel Villanueva, Edrin Quitonano, Adrian James Villanueva, Amanda Villanueva, Cody Udarbe, Abigail Anne Villanueva and Ariana May Villanueva, brothers Mariano (Lolita) Rondon, Amante (Resucita Millete) Rondon and Dominador (Melanie) Rondon, and by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A rosary will be held at Garden Island Mortuary at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20. Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at Immaculate Conception Church, with visitation from 8 to 10 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. The family suggests casual attire and welcomes flowers.

Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pedro Patrick Baniaga

Pedro Patrick Baniaga passed away on Dec. 11 2019 at Wilcox Medical Center.

He was born on March 29, 1947, in Waimea, and served in the U.S Army,

He was a purchasing supervisor and worked at Budget Rent a Car.

He was preceded in death by his father Pedro Pete Ramos Baniaga, grandfather Apolonio Baniaga, grandmother Maria Ramos Baniaga, and wife Evelyn Suku Baniaga.

He is survived by his sons Sanoe (Lani) Baniaga of Kaumakani and Patrick “Patches” (Xiani) Baniaga of Kaumakani, companion Carol Apilado of Kekaha, grandchildren Sum-Yee, Maikoa, Maika, Makaio and Railee Baniaga, mother Consuelo “Connie” Baniaga, and sister Marianne (Mark) Lipward of Vermillion, South Dakota, and by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Hanapepe senior softball field next to Hanapepe Stadium. Family visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m.
