Debbie Lynne Sakai Ortiz-Luis
Debbie Lynne Sakai Ortiz-Luis, 60, of California, passed away on Aug. 20, 2021, in Kalaheo. She was born on Dec. 13, 1960. She was a retired nurse of Napa State Hospital.
She was preceded in death by daughter DeeAnne Falls and father William Teruo Sakai.
She is survived by mother Myra Linda Sakai, husband Manuel Ortiz-Luis, hanai children Fherie Bernardos, Allan Booth, Xander Robinson, Benjamin Sobrepena, sister Amy (Greg) Rita, brother William (Samantha) Sakai Jr., numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service is Saturday, Jan. 7, at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery with services from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Myra Linda Sakai
Myra Linda Sakai, 79, of Kalaheo, passed away on Aug. 6, 2022, at Pali Momi Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 26, 1943, in Hanapepe.
She was preceded in death by husband William Teruo Sakai, daughter Debbie Lynne Sakai Ortiz-Luis, granddaughter DeeAnne Falls, parents Celedonio “Tony” and Angeline “Angie” Erlandiz, sister Carmen Dolores Erlandiz, brothers James Alvin Reyes and Tonieng Erlandiz.
She is survived by daughter Amy (Greg) Rita, son William (Samantha) Sakai Jr., grandchildren Raquel and Garrett Rita, Sasha and Kaimana Sakai, brothers August, Stanley and Edward Erlandiz, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service is Saturday, Jan. 7, at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery with services from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
