Toshio Kaneko
Toshio Kaneko peacefully passed away on Aug. 24, 2021, at the age of 93. He was born on Feb. 1, 1928, at Lawa’i Stable. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Toshio was preceded in death by his parents Toshiji and Katsu Kaneko, brother Yoneo (Elaine) Kaneko, sisters Kikue Kaneko, Yoshie (Reiso) Nakamoto and Patsy (George) Hong.
Toshio is survived by his wife Stella Leilani Kaneko, daughter Gayle T. K. (Shawn) Thompson, sons Lance G. (Sarah) Kaneko, Ivan Y. (Tanya Tomacder) Kaneko, 7 grandchildren, sister Myra (Masayoshi) Nishiie of Kilauea, numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
