Estrella Ramos
Estrella Ramos, 99, of Hanama‘ulu, passed away on Nov. 23, 2022 at Wilcox Medical Center. She was born on May 23, 1923 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, and was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in death by husband Ricardo M. Ramos and sons Elson Ramos and George Ramos.
She is survived by her children Vicky Ramos, Arleen Ramos and Billy Ramos, 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is Friday, Dec. 30, at Immaculate Conception Church, with viewing from 9 a.m. and Mass beginning at 10 a.m. Wearing masks in church is appreciated. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Jennis O. Christian
Jennis O. Christian passed away peacefully on Dec. 21, 2022, at the age of 89. She was born on March 3, 1933, in Lihu‘e. She was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in passing by husband Donald Christian, father Joseph Iida, mothers Marie and Isabella Iida, siblings Joseph, Charlie, Harold Iida and Merilyn Costa, sons-in-law Timmy Alalem and Teddy Gorospe and grandchildren Tyler and Aaron Alesna.
She is survived by daughters Amber (Eddie) Ancheta, Suzie (Randy) Racca, DeeDee Gorospe, Rene (Andy) Alesna, Jan Cheryl Alalem, Claire Ann Christian, Jolynn (Steven) Gladmann and Apryl Worthington, son Wayne Manago, 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home on Jan. 3 at 1 p.m. Additional services and burial will be announced on a future date.
