Vicenta Jose Dumbrique
Vicenta Jose Dumbrique, 93, of Lihue, passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on May 5, 2019. She was born in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on May 25, 1925, and retired from Kauai Surf Hotel as a housekeeper.
She was preceded in death by husband Guillermo Dumbrique, parents Manuel and Aquilina Jose, and siblings Isabel Pascual, Raymunda Jose, Olympia Jose, Roman Jose and Modesto (Juliana) Jose.
She is survived by children Gloria L. Dumbrique, Diomy “Florde” Dumbrique and Andy (Katherine Jade) Dumbrique, one grandson, sister Aning Jose Andres of the Philippines, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15, at Immaculate Conception Church, with viewing from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
