Haruno (Toni) Yamashiro Souza
Haruno (Toni) Yamashiro Souza passed away on Oct. 16, 2022, in Lihu‘e at the age of 101. She was born on April 20, 1921, in Makaweli. She was a housekeeper.
She is survived by son Wayne (Jean) Souza of Kaua‘i, daughter Margaret (Kay) Mochizuki of O‘ahu, 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, sisters Rachael Yamashiro of California and Marjorie (George) Honjiyo of O‘ahu, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service was held. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
