Joseph ‘Joe’ Ornellas Jr.
Joseph “Joe” Ornellas Jr. was born on Jan. 6, 1930, on Kauai.
He passed away on Aug. 2, 2019, at the age of 89, and was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by wife Dorothy Ornellas, parents Joseph Sr. and Irma Ornellas, and daughters Jodine Silva and Carleen Watson.
He is survived by daughters Sheila (Jazz) Richbow and Cozy Whitfield, sons Joseph David Ornellas, Matthew (Liz) Ornellas, Quintin (Alma) Ornellas and Milton (Debbie) Ornellas, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary in Koloa, where services will begin at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens in Kapaia.
The family requests casual attire.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
