Joni Ho‘okano
Joni Ho‘okano passed away on Nov. 6, 2019, at the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waimea.
She was born on June 19, 1955, in Waimea.
She was preceded in death by parents Ohu and Eliza Ho‘okano, and sisters Nani Ho‘okano, U‘i Ho‘okano, Lehua Kona, and Kiki Ho‘okano.
She is survived by son Alfred (Jackie) Ho‘okano, brothers Renfred (Michelle) Ho‘okano, Lionel Ho‘okano, Norman (Noe) Ho‘okano and Dean (Debbie) Ho‘okano, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 24, at Ohu and Eliza’s hale at 9832 Pule Rd., Waimea Valley, with visitation at 10:30 a.m. and a celebration of life to be held at 11:15 a.m.
