Edward Haruo Tada
Edward Haruo Tada passed away in Lihue on Oct. 10, 2019, at the age of 90. He was born on Oct. 9, 1929 in Kapaa, and was a painting contractor with Tada Painting.
He was preceded in death by parents Masato and Natsuyo Tada, and wife Natsuko Y. Tada.
He is survived by sons Glenn (Karyn) Tada of Hilo and Leslie Tada of Kapaa, daughters Deborah (Randy Wong) Tada of Honolulu and Susan (Loran) Wilson of Honolulu, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister Bernice Harada of Honolulu, and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Kapaa Hongwanji Mission, with visitation at 2 p.m. and service at 3 p.m.
The family suggests casual attire.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
