Doris ‘Aunty Doris’ Refamonte
Doris “Aunty Doris” Refamonte passed on Sept. 16, 2021, at the age of 82, in Lihu‘e. She was born on Nov. 7, 1938.
Doris was preceded in death by her father Tomas Refamonte, mother Leoncia “Lynn” Cabinatan Cuyo, sister Jean Refamonte Redira, brothers Tomas “Ondo” Refamonte, Jr., Jerry Refamonte, Timothy Cuyo, and step-father Timot Cuyo.
Doris is survived by her brother Ronald (Koran) Refamonte, sister Janet (Ming) Largusa, Pearl (Raymond) Awana, and Beverly (Edward) Cuyo, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at Immaculate Conception Church at 4453 Kapaia Road, Lihu‘e. Visitation is at 8:30 a.m. and mass to follow at 10 a.m. Internment to follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park (near Kaua’i High School), Lihu‘e.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
