Miriam P. Sasaki
Miriam P. Sasaki, of Puhi, passed away on Oct. 13, 2019, at the age of 85. Born on April 13, 1934, in Hanapepe, she was a retired manager at Lihue Salvation Army.
She is preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Elizabeth Pauole; spouse Shigeyuki Sasaki; sisters, Ellen Taniguchi, Lucy Carineo, Alice Lee, Elizabeth Lee, Dora Camarillo, Beatrice Santos
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen ( Peter Sapinoso ) Sasaki, Gwendolyn (Egon) Silva, Pearl (Denis) Souza, Lynnette (Phil Brewer) Salazar, Sherrice (Brian) Souza; son Wayde Sasaki; 25 grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe with visitation 9:30 a.m. Service at 10 a.m.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
